LED UP LIGHTS
Why use Battery Operated LED up lights at your next event or wedding?
Uplighting is the most popular lighting effect used in weddings right now. They have been around for many years but have recently become more prevalent with the introduction of LED technology. The lights are placed at low positions around the room such as at the base of a wall or column which highlights the wall and the ceiling or the outdoor tropical fauna and Florida palm trees.
LED uplighting is an immediate way to bring a beautiful and stimulating feel to your event. The lights add depth and a personal touch to your event by painting your room with light. The effect can be quite dramatic and help define a space, while adding color and dimension to an area to complement your event’s color scheme. Color elicits emotions and responses. Create a true wow effect by turning your wedding reception into a beautiful canvas of light. From soft and romantic to vibrant and lively, lighting design can be created to capture your personal tastes and preferences.
Our LED up lights can be single or multiple static colors or programmed to change colors throughout the night. Photographers LOVE uplighting! Our lights provide the extra depth and dimension that make photos come alive. LED uplighting helps illuminate the areas beyond the flash so more of your venue or outdoor area is visible in all the photos.
Battery vs Powered
As far as color and output are concerned there is no difference between battery and powered lights. The main difference however is the flexibility of placement! Some venues may have enough outlets but this is certainly not the norm. Many historic venues where have hardly to NO accessible power. Aside from the access to power, there is a wonderful aesthetic value of using battery lights. With no more cables or tape there will be no eyesores or trip hazards. A majority of private events and weddings in Florida are outdoors where rechargeable LED up lights bring the ultimate benefit since there are usually few to no outlets available.
Traditional vs. LED
Traditional uplighting uses 2-500 watt par can lights which are basically headlights in a can that get very hot. LEDs use less power and are also safer because they are cool to the touch so you don’t have to worry about anyone burning themselves on the light by accident. LEDs also offer a rainbow of colors to choose from.
